Hey Everybody
WARNING: While reading this Blog remember my Grammar is not good at all!Man has it been a while since I have posted, I tried to get on and get something down on the old computer but I was just way to busy, but I was able to find some time lately and hopefully even with carpentry school around the corner for me I hopefully will have time to post on my blog.
Man what a summer it has been, had that nasty heat wave we have/had over Ontario, We where seeing temperatures of 35+ Celsius and that is 95+ Farhrenheit with the humidex we where 40+ Celsius some days which is 100+ Farenheit, now thankfully I don't mind the heat until it gets over 35 Celsius and then the heat is a bitch. It has been a very dry summer. Well I hope anybody that is reading this and not reading had yourselve a great summer and what last of it to come.
Funny lately being so busy and out of the house, I have noticed everything changing things that used to be there when I was a young one are not anymore and it feels weird I took my friends daughter to the YMCA pool so she could go for a swim, now the YMCA was renovated about 2-3 years ago and this was the first time that I had been there, so I pull into the parking lot now if you know kids and the excitement they can have over the smallest thing then you know what I am talking about. I could barely get Melon-Bum out of her car seat I barely had time to look around outside, about an hour to an hour and a half we get out of the pool, now I knew she was tired when we went in the family change room and she basically flat out refused to take off her swim suit and put her clothes back on, long story short I showed her the difference of her bathing suit to her clothes and she made the choice to put her clothes on if not I was going to bribe her with a ice cream cone from McDonalds.
We are walking out of the YMCA and walking to the car and I just started to look around, it had changed so much I used to work there as a councilor about 10-11 years ago I put Melon-Bum into her car seat and called her mom letting her know that we where heading home and at the time that I was talking to her I was looking around I couldn't belive that it had changed so much, I remember where the old building used to be and what it used to look like. Now don't get my wrong I think the new building has great facilities. It Reminded me of Variety Village from when I was 13-15 The world is defiantly changing and parts I like and do not like. Funny you would think with 27 years under my belt that I would have figured out that the time is changing what you knew and I better go with it or I will be left behind and it will be a bitch catching up.
Man it is only August but I am looking forward too helping out at Screamfest this October I have been helping for 4 years and this will be my fifth, holy shit has it actually been that long? Wow where has the time gone.
I guess I will end on a good note and let everybody know that I have been quit smoking for over 2 months now.
